From the Editor
Welcome back to the third installment of the 2008 newsletter. It is always a pleasure to read your feedback from the articles and suggestions we receive to further enhance the usefulness of our newsletter and I am excited about this month’s topics and hope you find the information helpful.
Dealing first hand with Diabetes on daily basis at the hospital, I can truly understand the "epidemic" and its debilitating effects, but it’s often the lack of understanding and knowledge of the disease itself that creates such a problem.
I urge you to read the articles below and consider anyone within your family or friends who may suffer from Diabetes and be proactive with your caregiving regimen, especially when faced with the emotional strain and time-consuming activities involved with the personal care of these patients.
We at Aurora Nurses strive to assist all patients in need, and when it comes to patients suffering from Diabetes, the emotional needs are even more pivotal. We are available for any assistance you may need and look forward to serving you in any way we can.
Please look throughout the website for additional support, and please take a moment to visit our newly added store, and if you have any recommendations of particular items you may want to see added, please do not hesitate to email me.
